Net-vProbe

Net-vProbe serves as a scalable software solution designed to monitor the transport quality of OTT multicast video streams, including DASH and HLS. It can be deployed on x86 servers or virtual machines, enabling flexible installation at strategic cloud or local test points. The probe assures accurate throughput measurement, verifies HLS manifest and DASH sidx file integrity, and facilitates simultaneous monitoring of various profiles. With its round-the-clock round-robin capability, it efficiently manages large stream volumes while reporting HTTP errors and generating dynamic requests. Additionally, it features video decoding, thumbnail presentation, and provides insights into buffer fill percentages and stream transport quality factors.
