ADP Payroll Review and Overview

In the modern age, offices are increasing day by day and so is the ardent task of managing and monitoring the staff members in it. For that, the HR department works in different ways to make sure things don’t go bad for both the company and employees. Monitoring the staff and their payrolls can be hefty work. This can be enhanced by the use of time tracking products and payroll software.

ADP, known as Automatic Data Processing Inc., is such a company that provides services in HR management. It was founded in the year 1949 to provide better HR services to the offices. It had essential payroll services in the initial days. Till 1985, they started processing paychecks of about 20% of offices in the USA. As of now, it has more than 55k employees across the globe, with revenue of over $12 billion.

ADP Services and Products

The services lauded by ADP depend on the subscription plan you choose. They provide ADP Payroll, targeting both smaller businesses as well as larger ones. The smaller business plans include multiple payroll plans like essential services, enhanced services, and complete HR solutions. You can set a trial or demo account for up to 3 months for free. It has general features like payroll delivery, ledger interface, tax filings, direct deposits, HR helpdesk, HR tracking services, employee access, and handbook. It's available on desktops, phones, and via calls too. It also has some advanced support like Legal Shield assistance, Insurance, State & Federal Employment forms, etc.

The second plan, i.e., Enterprise Payroll, covers almost all the services of Small Business Payroll. It has some extra perks of HRIS, outsourcing, covers up to 100k employees, automated compliances, and other organizational services. As for both the products, time tracking is done via a time clock, accessible on desktops, mobiles, or telephones. Pay can be assigned here, which will be deposited automatically at a stipulated checkout. The UI of ADP Payroll is straightforward and even supports integration from QuickBooks, Xero, Slack, Clover, etc.

Overall, ADP Payroll is perfect for leading companies. However, the costing and returns for smaller businesses can be improved a bit. Other than that, it is truly an industry leader for its payroll services.
