They’ve been offering remote security services since 2002. Now, Alarm.com even has cloud-based security features that can be integrated via remote modes, and devices like Amazon firestick and Google Home can be connected too.
Alarm.com Interactivity Security
It can be connected to a variety of devices like iOS, Androids, Windows, and many more. Users can integrate the application with various security home control panels like GE Interogix, Qolsys, DSC, 2Gig, etc. Other devices like Liftmaster Garage opener, and locksets from Yale, Kwikset, etc. are also unified here.
In the mobile security mode, there are six key arming modes given by Alarm.com to safeguard the homes. These security modes are Away, Stay, Off, Instant, Duress, and Panic mode. Even in the OFF mode, you can still access most of these features freely. Different modes are set to trigger based on various movements like doors, windows, disarm attempts, motion sensors, etc. Owners are notified via an alarm, and in case they are away, it uses email messages and phone text notifications.
Alarm.com Video Monitoring and Smart Automation
The Video Monitoring features are quite uncomplicated. It uses a typical CCTV camera with some extra functions in it. It has support for indoor wireless camera, enabled with night vision, indoor pans/tilts, and Skybell door camera. All of this is combined with 4/8 channel video servers. Admins can set specific triggers and behaviour monitoring features. Once activated, these triggers use image processing to check for any positive triggers and send an alarm notification to the owners. The surveillance over a video camera can be either time based or 24/7.
As for Home Automation, they have given Door Lock Controls, automatic lamps & lights, and Energy management. All the above features are accessible via any supported device app. Overall, Alarm.com does offer reliable home and office security and monitoring solutions.
