BTC Markets

BTC Markets

By: BTC Markets Pty Ltd.

While it aims to provide a simple and easy platform to trade bitcoin and various other cryptocurrencies in the market, it has quite a high amount of fees that you must pay when you trade using this platform. Deposit fees are mostly free, but trading fees are quite high, and the withdrawal fees are also higher than some other similar platforms. The only exception is when you are using Australian bank transfer, which is free for both deposit and withdrawal.

BTC Markets Review and Overview

Cryptocurrencies are swiftly rising on the top to replace traditional money, and so are the marketplaces that offer to buy them. However, it has become a highly suspected form, and so strict regulations keep the areas of buying cryptos limited. Some marketplaces offer exclusive content for buying cryptocurrencies.

Among them, BTC Markets is a well-known cryptocurrency platform. Since 2013, it has evolved to a full-time cryptocurrency exchange platform. It proposes services for exchanging multiple cryptos and also displays detailed stats about them. BTC Market is mostly prevalent in its birth-place, i.e., Australia. It also provides services like hot wallet, cold wallet, equity trading, automated trading, high-volume transaction processing, and many more.

BTC Markets Platform and Exchange Markets

The BTC Market is mostly accessible via the cloud interface it offers on its site. From this page, users can buy/sell or do an exchange of most forms of cryptocurrencies. Contrarily, the Exchange Markets offers to trade famous cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Lite Coin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, and Ripple. In this marketplace, the only supported non-crypto currency is AUD, i.e., Australian Dollar.

BTC Markets Fees and Security Features

Just like any crypto exchange platform, BTC Markets charges only a minimal amount on exchange rates and cash withdrawals. The funds in BTC Markets and customer wallets are reconciled multiple times in a day to avoid any discrepancies. It also uses encryption facilities and other security measures for wallet and exchange terminals.

As of January 23rd, 2020, the BTC Market’s fees were divided into several ways. The trading fees rates are at -0.05% for makers and 0.20% fees for the takers. These fees are for inter-crypto exchange only. For trading fees across AUD, charges from 0.85% to 0.10% are applied based on monthly AUD volume. Depositing cryptos is free. Withdrawal is free for AUD bank transfer, and as for withdrawal in other cryptos, it is chargeable with minimal amount.

Overall, BTC Market is famous for its lesser trading fees, sleek UI, secure wallet, and decent support options. The only disadvantage of BTC Markets compared to other crypto exchange platforms is AUD. If they expand it to support more currencies, it can rise in the top chart.
