Gliffy Review and Overview

Gliffy is a diagram software that can let any user or organization present their workflow or schedule in the form of charts, which in turn will convey the message better and divide the operation into several small tasks so that the goal can be achieved realistically. It can be used to create customized Venn Diagrams, several kinds of Flowcharts, or even Floor Designs, thus, helping out in every field.

Drawing with Gliffy…

Gliffy allows users to draw with ease by enabling them to drag and drop the shapes of their choice on a sheet in the monitor, and even use specific templates or themes if needed. Diagrams drawn in the Gliffy are shareable via URL, or by embedding.

It can turn out to be beneficial in an organization where personnel is divided into small team units as it collaborates team members by providing access to authorized team members to view, edit, and comment on the diagram. Furthermore, in case a member made any significant change, which turns out to be a bottleneck after some time, Gliffy allows to restore the previous version of the diagram immediately so that workflow doesn’t stop anywhere.

Gliffy also allows users to export the created diagrams or even import and edit the already created diagrams, in case they want to make changes. If users ever feel the need to change or modify a diagram, but they can’t access the office desktop, they can use Confluence or Jira app, as these are the mobile counterparts for Gliffy provided through integration with Atlassian.

Different tools for different fields

Gliffy assists in different kinds of organizations in different ways. It can help a Software Engineering company by helping with features like Network diagrams, AWS Architecture, etc., while for a Design firm, Gliffy can turn out to be an asset as it makes drawing Floor plans and Wireframes a lot easier.

Apart from technical fields like Design and Software Engineering, Gliffy also helps with Business through Flowcharts, Business Process Models, Mind Maps, Venn Diagrams, etc.  Drawing models, instead of writing a thousand words, has always been a better way to get the message across in every field.
