Sumo Logic Review and Overview

Sumo Logic excels in cloud data collection and analytics. The cloud interface has AI-assisted technology. It works by collecting the data and centralizing it. It can accommodate about 150 apps and integrations and access it via a central panel.

Sumo Logic Solutions Overview

It has real-time analytics offering to find and resolve the potential security breaches and cyber threats, along with lessening the compliance costs. The central panel has lots of customized options to display the desired information, logs, metrics, and other performance parameters. The AI can alert the admins in case any unwanted scripts or actions are seen.

With all the collected data, Sumo Logic has offered operations, security, and business analytics. Sumo Logic has three basic plans, viz., Sumo Free, Professional, and Enterprise, priced at $0, $99, and $165 per month. These plans are billed annually. The paid plans only allow 1 GB of daily data ingest. The paid programs are aimed at mid-sized or large businesses. Users can also opt for a 30-day Sumo Logic trial of any of the above-paid plans.

Sumo Logic Subscriptions

In the Sumo Free plan, the log ingest limit is 500 MB daily and a net record of 4 GB. There is no support for metric though in the free plan. When it comes to feature capabilities, many of the advanced features are restricted in this version. The free plan only supports traditional log collection, search & visualization, predictive analytics, LogReduce/LogCompare tools, and outlier detection. It even includes a live streaming dashboard and live tail logs.

In the Pro Plan, Sumo Logic adds additional metrics, real-time alerts, webhooks integrations, and support API. Pro Plan even includes collector management, Sumo Logic apps, and other variable retentions. Contrary to this, the Enterprise plans have a few more advanced tools. This plan supports the budget ingestion and search API access.

It has an exhaustive enterprise audit logging, secure SSO & SAML support, and an app framework for security analytics & PCI compliance. The extra customer support options are only in the paid versions. Overall, Sumo Logic helps in detailed app monitoring and analytics job.
