TD Ameritrade is an American broker website that offers broker and financial services in the form of an electronic trading platform. Founded in 1971, TD Ameritrade now provides trade services in stocks, contracts, mutual funds, cryptocurrencies, and many more. They started their paperless accounts since 2001 and has now over 15 million client accounts and assets of $1.3 trillion in them.
TD Ameritrade Financial Services and Charges
TD Ameritrade provides full support to some financial services for Stocks, multi-legged trade options, ETFs, Mutual Funds, and FOREX. They even include Futures, Managed Portfolios, Cash management, Bonds/CDs, and Annuities. All features of Ameritrade are accessible in all the platforms, except that the thinkorswim services are on mobile phones only. Also, not all tools and settings can be accessed from all devices.
The Web Platform allows access to all the research and education materials and planning tools. It provides a stock overview, Snap Ticket interface, Calendars, watch list, and gains keeper. Objective research here allows us to get the correct info from sites like Market Edge and CFRA, helping to form proper strategies. The web platform also uses a portfolio planner and retirement planner tools. Traders can configure the system to generate notifications and alerts on changes in price, volume, ratings, etc. in the invested assets.

They offer 24/5 trading, access to over 400k economic data points, and custom alerts for any undesired changes. They even have a chat room to include the power of the community in trading. Similarly, social sentiment ratings allow the users to see the current sentiment of masses about a stock, with live sync features. Likewise, mobile trading in Ameritrade has basic and some advanced traders’ tools and dashboards.
Ameritrade takes $0, 5, and $25 in Stock trading over mobile, IVR, and Broker-assisted methods, respectively. Similarly, the ETFs add a commission-free plan too. In the case of Mutual Funds, they take $0, 49.99, and zero rates for NTF, No-Load, and Load based mutual funds. In the Futures, they receive $2.25 per contract and zero commission in the FOREX trading. Overall, Ameritrade is a very reliable broker covering multiple trading options on the web interface.
