Write.as Review and Overview

Write.as is simple and easy. The user is only a click away to put down the thoughts and there is no need to register/subscribe. The 'start writing' brings a blank page and the user can, immediately start writing. The user can also register and opt for a premium plan for increased support and added benefits. The platform has three custom, premium and pre-made templates designed for Teachers, Publications, and Newsletters with added features catered to their specific needs.

Minimalistic Design

The write-pad has a clear design and minimal design, the same as a notepad with zero distractions. The text editor lets the user write with plain text with only three fonts - serif, sans-serif, and monospace. When the post is complete, it can be published with a unique URL. The user has the option to keep it private or share it with others. The platform focuses on privacy and all blogs are unlisted by default. Every write-up is saved as a draft regardless of whether the user has an account or not.

Premium Features

The product premium has advanced features with a Built-in audience portal, Email-Publishing, photo-hosting, and offers a custom domain. Out of all, Email-publishing is a noteworthy feature in the premium plan where it allows the users to post via email. It is useful for phone users who want to write from their smartphones or users dealing with blogs via email. Pro Members can submit their write-up in submit.as platform and host photos via Snap.as - both the platforms are part of the write.as. The hosted images and submitted blogs can be crossposted on Twitter and Facebook.

Unlike other blogging platforms that are stuffed with SEO keywords, content analysis map, and filled with unnecessary features that demotivate the writer to write, Write.as is primarily focused on writing and eliminating all other features/distractions from their platform. The writers can focus on their thoughts with no distractions to interrupt their creative flow that makes write.as a unique writing platform.
