Adguard Review and Overview

Remember the last time you had a seamless browsing experience. No, right! Because that was a long time ago. A seamless browsing experience where unwanted ads don’t spam you seems to have become a thing of the past. The internet today is a highly evolved system where user anonymity seems to be diminishing by the day. And this is both good as well as bad news. The good part about the diminishing anonymity is that it brings more transparency and accountability into the system while the bad news is that the transparency is misused to make monetary gains.

The menace of data breach

The internet today is one large selling medium with the highest level of sophistication. The internet, unlike other mediums, is not primitive and inaccurate, but it is rather highly advanced and unescapable. Much of the advancement is owing to the AI-based user data tracking systems which create a virtual personality of the user based on the collected data. The virtual personality is then analyzed, with the user’s tastes and preferences being taken into account. This analysis is then used to further pitch products that the user is most likely to buy. Further, based on the user’s purchase decision, the algorithm is altered accordingly.

The solution to the problem

Although at the outset, the system may seem harmless, but it actually isn’t. The use of the users’ data is not limited to selling products. There have been unconfirmed reports of users’ data being used to invade privacy and snoop on them. With allegations of a data breach being leveled against a leading social media network, the fears are perfectly in place. Such attempts at breaching user privacy can lead to catastrophic circumstances for the user. Therefore, using an ad-blocking tool like Adguard becomes necessary to avoid such circumstances. The tool comes with features like ad-blocking and safe web surfing. The ad-blocker blocks all the pop-ups and ads to give the user a safe browsing environment.

Safe browsing options on offer

Additionally, the tool also offers features like privacy protection and parental control. The Privacy Protection features block all the tracking systems and disables cookies while the Parental Control features allow the users to set browsing limitations for their children. In addition to these, anonymous browsing features are also offered. These help the user to disguise the tracking systems and browse securely.
