A new and novel method of automating educational processes
Edsby, is simple terms, is a complete suite for automating and managing all the different processes that take place in a school. It has features tailored to everyone who is participating in the education system. For students, it has the capability to collect data about all their endeavors and show these at a centralized dashboard. These data may include their grades, time tables of classes, activities, and events they may be interested in and other such assortments of useful information. For teachers, it provides a profile system to monitor the progress of their classes. They can also view their schedule and new events.
Connecting students, teachers and parents digitally
A very important part of the Edsby’s design philosophy is to connect all the major parties in the education system through a powerful, efficient and easy-to-use network. For this, it uses a system similar to social networking. Students can comment on assignments posted by teachers to clear doubts regarding them, can message each other for better teamwork or can directly message the teacher for resolving queries. Teachers, similarly, can post homework and assignment, and communicate with their students or with the parents. The parents can communicate with the educator directly in a novel, online form of a parent-teacher meeting.
