GarageBand Review and Overview

Electronic music production covers more than half of the total music produced in the latest generation. More and more people and producers are resorting to creating the tracks without the actual use of the instruments. They need special software to create tracks and publish them. Apple's GarageBand is a music production software aimed at providing the best possible experience and a convenient method for making music. It includes different plugins and preset effects to aid in the process of music production. The user interface is kept simple for avoiding distractions and letting them focus on their work.

Music without physically using the instrument

Making professionally sounding music need not require using instruments in hand. Instead, GarageBand provides a massive list of preset sounds of percussions and other musical instruments. Users are able to drag and drop the desired effects onto the timeline and perform the mixing process. The jaw-dropping array of amps and effects add to the completeness of the music track.

Get inspired by how famous musicians create music without learning to use the instrument physically. It enables people who don't know how to use such instruments to make music. They feel that failing to learn an instrument should not be the end of the road for an aspiring musician.

Drummers and percussions

The drummer is a virtual session player that was created in consultation with different drummers and audio engineers. It features twenty-eight beat drummers and three percussionists. There are different types of drumming styles suited for different music genres.

Each drummer has a signature kit which will let the users play their favorite tunes and provide groove to the music track. Use the controls to synchronize and fix individual sound problems while a kick or beat is generated inside the studio. The drum loops provide a better experience and can be customized according to the user's wish.

Synths and controls

GarageBand features different kinds of synths for easy dragging and dropping onto the timeline. There are around a hundred of those synths available in the market. The transform pad allows them to be customized and tweaked to fit the music's tune. The different kinds of effects ensure that the users are not bored using the same ones again and again. There are bass and synths all over the place, waiting to be used during any big concert.

Record and master the audio

Mixing and mastering are now easy compared to other music production software available in the market. Fix sound issues and apply different effects, including noise reduction. Use the audio plugins to enhance the workflow of the studio. It allows us to set a custom visualizer along with the music.

Record multiple takes and then select only the best one out of these and queue it for final export. Capture the changes and use the Fine-tune option to perfectly enhance the video.
