Plastiq Review and Overview

Plastiq is a payment service that allows a user to pay a vendor using credit/debit cards, even in case the receiver does not support it. The main features of service include ease of use and a minimal processing fee with no hidden charges.

Never lose the connectivity

Cashflow is something that not only balances the registers but also maintains the relationship among businesses. Therefore cashflow must always be maintained despite the difficulties, and Plastiq helps users achieve that aim easily. Imagine you have to transfer funds to a vendor online, but unfortunately, the vendor does not accept payments by cards, and you are not capable of sending a cheque or paying them cash up front. What do you do in that case? You come to Plastiq and forget all your problems. To get started, users just have to sign up on the platform, verify the credit/debit card they use for payments, and they’ll be good to go.

Once the users have registered on the platform, they just have to add the details of recipients, which include their name, account number, and other necessary information. Here it should be noted that what makes Plastiq unique is the fact that a recipient need not have an account on the platform. When users are done with adding the recipients, they can enter the amount to transfer, and rest will be handled by the service. Before making the transaction, they’ll be asked for the way they want their recipient to get paid, and then the amount will be deducted from their card.

Old-school or new, Plastiq got it covered

The methods that users get to select before clicking the pay now button include – ACH Bank Transfer, Wire Transfer, and Check. Now, ACH Bank is the preferred mode of transferring money if you want money to be deposited directly in the bank account of the receiver  The process usually does not take more than 24 hours to get completed. Wire Transfer, on the other hand, allows users to transfer the amount even to international accounts but takes a little more time. And lastly, the old-school check method delivers check at the doorstep (sent in the mail beforehand), and the process can take up to eight days.

All these payment modes are facilitated to users at a minimal 2.5% processing fee. Got to transfer the amount to the vendor that does not accept cards? Worry not, Plastiq got you covered.
