Founded in 1971 as Lynchburg Baptist College, it has core foundations as a private evangelical Christian university. The University offers degrees and courses in many subjects, along with decent college facilities.
Liberty University Online Courses
Liberty University offers accredited degrees. They have about 17 colleges, including schools. Over 100k students enroll every year with 600+ study programs. Out of these, about 400 programs are available online. The current online program got their first step in 1985 in the form of distance education. They used VHS tapes in those eras before online content learning was started. As of now, they offer more than 750k digital resources, including books, videos, lectures, journals, etc. in their online courses.
Liberty University Online and Offline is accredited by SACSCOC, which is the southern college association for accreditation. For athletics training, they have certification from CAATE, an athletic training association. Similarly, they are also accredited by various other organizations like ACBSP, ABET, NCATE, etc. This shows the much-needed proper certification for their courses' good reputation.
They have included a Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree, and Doctorate/Ph.D. It also has some online certificate courses for minor learning programs. Under the online programs, they have offered degrees in Psychology, criminal justice, multidisciplinary studies, and religion in the form of Bachelor’s degrees. For a master’s degree in online learning, we can pick from MBA, nursing, management, counseling, and MA degree. The doctorate is provided in multiple forms for arts, educations, behavioral sciences, business, and many such fields.
With over 400 courses and degrees in the online form, users can enroll in any program they like. As for the tuition fees, the programs usually have common fees but also differ for some courses. For the usual UG programs, it is $390 full-time credit/hour; for PG, it is $565 for full time. There are some discounts added for the military students. The part-time courses are priced a bit higher than the full-time courses. Online courses at Liberty University have a similar setup like other online courses with video lectures, notes, and other online learning content.
