OneLogin Review and Overview

Employees in companies use a plethora of apps and plugins as a part of their day-to-day operations. As a result of which the different apps need to be authenticated individually each day requiring the employees to remember different passwords. Two consequences arise out of a scenario such as this. One is that it becomes extremely cumbersome for the employees to remember different passwords. And as a consequence of this, the employees try to keep the same password for all accounts leading to a possible compromise in safety.

The need for OneLogin

To prevent such data breaches, OneLogin has come up with The OneLogin Trusted Experience Platform that lets users sign in and authenticate all apps at once using the Single Sign-On feature. Using this feature the users need to enter only one set of credentials to log in to all their apps and go about doing their work. This lets them save a lot of time which they would otherwise be wasting in completing authentications for different apps. As a consequence of this workflows move ahead seamlessly, leading to better work output.

What makes the platform reliable?

The purpose served by the platform makes it useful and the features that help the platform serve this purpose are features like the Policy-driven password security, Multi-factor authentication and Context-aware access management. Additionally, restrictions and validity timelines for the passwords can be set as a part of the advanced security features. The users can also use the option of social login which allows them to sign in using their Google, Linkedin, and other social media accounts.

The USP of OneLogin

Some apps don’t support multiple logins and hence it becomes difficult for employees to use the app simultaneously. However, using the Shared Logins feature employees can use the same app without the need of having to divulge login credentials to one another. Also in addition to these features, the platform supports twenty-one different languages which only adds to its usability. Overall, the platform acts a great facilitator in making day-to-day processes smoother and faster.
