Adobe Premiere Pro Review and Overview

Adobe Premiere is a leading video editor that offers comprehensive video editing features along with all the essential tools needed for editing. It uses typical timeline-based editing and is operated offline. It was developed in the year 1991 as Adobe Premiere Pro. It was renamed as Premiere Pro in 2003 and was released with advanced timeline editing features like in the current form. The current version Premiere Pro 14.0 has one of the most advanced features and leads as one of the best video editors.

Adobe Premiere Pro Video Editor Features

Premiere Pro starts with a basic plan of $20.99 for individuals. It includes all the professional video editing and enhancing features. The Business plan offers this at $33.99 with additional features. There are separate plans for students, teachers, and other academic users. They are quite cheaper and offer all app access at the yearly offer of $240. Most essential tools are included in these discounted versions.

Premiere Pro houses industry-standard color grading and correction tools. Users can import raw footage from various cameras and edit their colors accordingly. The video editor supports import from most media file formats like MP4, GIF, JPG, PNG, AVI, MKV, etc. Imports from devices like cameras, GoPro, iPhone, DSLR, etc. are also available. The timeline provides advanced pre-editing tools like trimming, cropping, color enhancement, etc.

Premiere Pro has tons of special effects and animation effects that can be added to the videos. With many custom and preset effects, it also has advanced features like motion effect tools and advanced keyframe controls. Premiere Pro has advanced audio editing and music effects feature too. Audio and music are accessed in the timeline panel and can be edited separately from the video.

Apart from these, Premiere Pro also uses some of the advanced tools of Adobe After Effects and Adobe Stock. Users can directly import popular footage and images using Adobe Stocks. After Effect can be used to add Hollywood style special effects. It also supports 360-degree video editing and stop motion editing. Overall, Premiere Pro is truly an advanced video editor tool that comes with multiple useful subscriptions.
