Udemy Review and Overview

Udemy is a learning management system that provides students and the teachers a platform to deliver and receive knowledge on various subjects. It is an online learning platform that allows students to learn computer programming, finance, management, Yoga, photography, and more. Apart from various courses, there are a few more features that you should know.

Courses and lectures

There are many courses available on the platform. They include IT and software, business, health, mobile development, design, marketing, and much more. You can register and enroll in any category of the course. You get audio lectures, video lectures, text lectures, quizzes, exercises. You also get a few other assignments depending upon the selected course.

Instructor and students

You can also become an instructor by registering yourself. Similarly, you can enroll yourself as a student. By enrolling, you can choose any courses of your choice by paying the required amount. Both the instructor and student have different options and access rights. Like the availability of video lectures for downloading depends on the consent of the instructor.

Udemy supports almost all the payment methods. You can pay through Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Discover, AMEX. Apart from these, the platform also accepts payments through Udemy credits. These payment methods are only confined when you access Udemy through the website or Mobile web. For Android and iOS applications, you need to use Google Pay and Apple App Store, respectively.

The bottom lines

When the students complete their course, they receive a digital certificate through email that can be printed out to receive a hard copy. It is only for a paid course. The free courses do not earn you a certificate. For new instructors, the platform needs to decide some norms to prevent unskilled or unprofessional individuals from becoming instructors. If you long for short courses or merely a certificate, Udemy shows the potential to help you.
